What We Do
Barkuma provides services to high school students with disability to create, pursue and achieve their life goals. Each service is tailored to students at different stages in their lives.
Our Better Pathways program provides one-on-one support with a dedicated worker for students to engage with the community and their education. It is available for students from year 10 up to one year after school finishes.
The Transition Program is a 12 month program designed to assist final year high school students in making the transition from school to employment or further study. The program is open to students aged 15 years or older.
We provide Case Management services to students with and without disability who are disengaged from education through the FLO program. We provide individualised programs to meet the unique needs of each student.
