What We Do
Vikram is the Business & Training Manager for Barkuma Training. With 23 years of experience in the sector, Vikram’s career commenced in Western Australia before his relocation to South Australia in 1999 and the commencement of his employment with Barkuma.
Prior to his current role Vikram spent 7 years delivering high quality and professional training to staff within the Disability Employment Sector as well as running Personal Leadership, Wellbeing and Life Skills programs for youth living with Developmental Disabilities.
With a focus on customer service Vikram is dedicated to working with students and organisations and in identifying and working towards achieving training goals.
Steve has worked at Barkuma for 9 years in a variety of roles. His experience includes training State Transition classes (working with high school students with disability), mental health and disability awareness training and accredited mental health courses.
Steve has many years experience in developing and delivering a far reaching range of training programs, both accredited and non-accredited, to a diverse variety of audiences. Steve is a previous winner of the Adult Community Education "Tutor of the Year" award as well as a City of Salisbury "Living Legend" and is a member of the Mental Health Professionals.
Steve takes every opportunity to develop his skill base and takes delight in passing these skills on to other members of the community and his students.
