Our non-accredited short courses offer practical knowledge for organisations and individuals to work more effectively in a number of different sectors. Each course is flexible and can be tailored to each specific organisation.
Provides a background on the disability sector, people with disability and the journey from disability to ability.
Participants will learn skills for the purpose of enabling effective communication and interview skills.
Provides awareness of the reasons for challenging behaviour. The training explores a range of tactics, methods and approaches to support and reduce challenging behaviour.
Person Centred Thinking is about placing the person at the core and developing a support plan around them.
Assists individuals to care for and protect children through building stronger, more child-focused communities.
Provides the skills and knowledge to have the ability to withstand, recover and/or grow in the face of stressors and changing demands.
Poor manual handling practice is one of the most common hazards confronted by people in the workplace. Training sessions are designed specifically for the Disability Support sector.
