FLO Case Management
We are a preferred FLO provider. We are also a specialist service provider for young people with:
- Intellectual disability
- Learning disabilities
- Dual diagnosis (ID and Mental Health).
What is FLO?
Flexible Learning Options (FLO) is a way to get your learning back on track. It is a more flexible approach for supporting engagement of young people at risk of disengaging with their learning. It is available in metropolitan and regional areas.
Barkuma’s Case Management service has been supporting people for nearly 20 years and has well established networks in the community. Our team is qualified and experienced in the area of disability and mental health and are able to offer individualised support to meet the unique needs of each student.
Our FLO Service
You will be allocated a Barkuma Case Manager who can support you with:
- Reconnecting with your education
- Health and wellbeing
- Working with other services
- Developing stronger numeracy and literacy skills
- Achieving self directed outcomes
- Exploring employment pathways
- Setting personalised goals
How do I access this support?
To access FLO you must be both:
- Enrolled in a SA Government school
- From Year 8 up to the age of 21.
You must be referred by your school to access the program. So speak with your local school about enrolling in FLO. You can also contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further information or visit the FLO website.
