Our Ambassador
Barkuma Welcomes Kate Collins
Barkuma is pleased to welcome Kate Collins of Adelaide’s Nine News as our newest Ambassador. Kate can be seen on television during week nights presenting the news on Channel 9.
Born in Mt Gambier, Kate is a proud South Australian and has worked as a journalist in both television and radio. She is keen to broaden her experience and knowledge and welcomes the opportunity to work closely with Barkuma by supporting the wonderful work it does.
“Barkuma is a great South Australia success story which has helped thousands of people with disabilities over the years. I am pleased and feel privileged to be associated with Barkuma and look forward to not only learning more, but assisting where I can”.
Kate’s role as an Ambassador will assist Barkuma to promote the valuable work it does and the opportunities it provides to people with disabilities in the community.
